Customer Support Engineer

Job Scope:

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing in depth technical support of Portico™ Systems’ products for our customers.

 

Additional Roles and responsibilities:

·        Work in a fast paced environment

·        Handle resolution of multiple issues on a given day

·        Adapt to changing priorities

·        Perform bug verification, development and testing on reported issues

·        Excellent troubleshooting skills

·        Support Installation/Deployment triage for customer implementations

·        Evaluate performance issues for customer implementations

·        Provide back up for department leads

 

Qualifications:

·        At least 6 months experience in a software development environment (can include academic projects, internships, and Co-Op experience)

·        Java, Java Servlets, JSP, HTML/DHTML/Applets

·        Experience with XML, XSLT, XSL-FO

·        Experience with Apache Struts with Tiles

·        Experience with Jython

·        Relational Databases - Oracle a plus

·        PL/SQL

·        Unix, Linux and Windows Operating Systems

·        Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Self motivated with desire for continuous learning

·        Ability to work in team environment

·        Ability to set goals and deliver on commitments

·        Strong tendency to adhere to software development best practices

·        Knowledge of Healthcare industry is a plus

·        Prior customer support experience a plus
