Engagement Manager
Job Scope:
As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for serving as the lead on client engagements responsible for client satisfaction, project profitability and the overall quality of the engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead on Portico projects
- Manage project scope, risk, and cost
- Plan, organize and lead project tasks
- Responsible for client satisfaction, project profitability, and project quality
- Gather requirements, create specifications, and assist in design phase
- Act as a link between the business users and the development team
- Assist with Portico product configuration
- Serve as a Portico product subject matter expert
- Manage customer expectations
- Assist in sales support role and product demonstrations
- Maintaining and expanding client relationships
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management and business analysis experience required
- Ability to travel to client sites (may be up to 75% travel) required
- Strong leadership, management and motivational skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Strong understanding of software applications required
- Experience with documenting business processes and specifications required
- Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) required
- Strong presentation skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelors degree required
- Healthcare experience a strong plus
- Familiarity with JAVA and SQL a plus
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, Visio
