Portico Systems, a leader in Integrated Provider Management solutions, has been selected by global health service company CIGNA to use Portico’s Integrated Provider Management (IPM) solutions to automate selection and create a single source of data for CIGNA's 573,000 contracted health care professionals.

These systems are designed to improve the accuracy of physician and health care facility reimbursement, provide more business relationship transparency and make it easier for health care professionals to do business with CIGNA.  CIGNA Corporation and its subsidiaries constitutes one of the largest investor-owned health service businesses in the United States, which processes approximately 122 million medical claims annually for contracted physicians, hospitals and health care facilities.

Portico’s solutions will be integrated with CIGNA's current systems in order to leverage the information within a single source and pass it to its downstream systems.
